NUGA was founded in July 2004 by a group of individuals who were passionate about the game of Golf. They wanted to establish a Pan-Nigerian Association where they can share their experiences, encourage one another and above all, enjoy the game.

The acronym, NUGA, stands for Nigeria United Kingdom Golf Association, reflects the two countries from which most of the members come from or live in. The NUGA motto is Friendship, Integrity and Charity.
The long term vision of NUGA is to have its own Golf Course.

Our objectives are to promote the playing of the game of golf to a high standard whilst maintaining etiquette, honesty & integrity.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you, on behalf of the President and the executive members, to the 2012 NUGA season. Let me promptly remind you and make a passionate appeal to please update your membership as soon as possible. We rely on your continued support to make NUGA a strong and effective association in our community.
I would like to bring to your attention the key events that we have lined up for the year.

My Captain’s Day will be held in April, at a spectacular golf course. In July, NUGA will have the honour of hosting the ‘International Event’
